Accessories Of Jane Austen Era
With heartfelt joy, I present to you the final patterns of the collection I have lovingly designed in tribute to the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birth. The understated elegance of Regency Era fashion — a hallmark of Jane Austen's era — has always held a special charm for me. In this year so richly steeped in her memory, I felt inspired to create a booklet showcasing elicate miniature representations of the beloved accessories from that time. Included are a reticule, a pair of gloves, and a bookmark — that ever-faithful companion of the books — each evoking the spirit of an era long past. To complete the set, a portrait of Jane Austen herself appears in the form of a dainty cushion.
All stitched by Banu karakaya on 28 Count Zweigart Antique White Linen as 2 over 2.
